1. About this Privacy Policy

AQYR is operated by Hiremii Limited (ABN 48 642 994 214).

AQYR is committed to protecting your privacy and handling Personal Information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use, disclose and protect Personal Information in connection with our website, software platform, workforce intelligence services, recruitment and workforce solutions, and related services.

We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

For more information about the Australian Privacy Principles, visit the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.

2. What is Personal Information?

Personal Information is information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.

The Personal Information we collect will depend on how you interact with AQYR.

This may include your name, email address, telephone number, location, company and job title, account information, billing information, employment history, education, qualifications, professional certifications, skills, work experience, CV or résumé information, salary information, employment preferences, application history and other information relevant to recruitment or workforce services.

We may also collect information about how you interact with our website, platform and communications, including device information, browser information, IP address, login activity, email opens, clicks and other technical or usage information.

Where you use AQYR on behalf of an organisation, we may also collect information relating to your organisation, your role within it and your use of the Service.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We may collect Personal Information directly from you when you create an account, subscribe to or use AQYR, apply for a position, upload a CV or other document, communicate with us, request a demonstration, subscribe to communications, participate in recruitment processes or otherwise provide information to us.

We may also receive Personal Information from our clients, employers, recruitment partners, service providers, integrated systems and other organisations where they are authorised to provide that information to us.

In connection with our workforce intelligence and recruitment services, information may also be obtained from professional databases, client systems, publicly available sources and datasets, and other lawful sources relevant to workforce and labour-market analysis.

AQYR’s current platform combines structured candidate records, client information and public datasets as part of its workforce-intelligence offering.

Where reasonable and practicable, we will explain why Personal Information is being collected and how we intend to use it.

4. Why We Collect and Use Personal Information

We collect and use Personal Information where reasonably necessary to provide and improve our services.

This may include providing access to the AQYR platform; administering subscriptions and user accounts; delivering workforce intelligence, analytics and market insights; assessing, matching, scoring and ranking candidates against roles; identifying potential employment opportunities; supporting recruitment and workforce services; communicating with users, candidates and clients; maintaining and improving our technology and services; undertaking research and analysis; maintaining security and preventing misuse; meeting legal and regulatory obligations; and providing relevant information about AQYR’s products and services.

We may also use Personal Information for purposes that are directly related to the purpose for which it was collected where you would reasonably expect us to do so, or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

5. AI, Automated Processing and Candidate Assessment

AQYR uses artificial intelligence, data analysis and other automated technologies to support workforce intelligence, candidate assessment and recruitment processes.

These technologies may analyse information such as employment history, skills, qualifications, professional certifications, project experience, sector experience and other information relevant to a particular role.

AQYR may use this information to produce candidate assessments, suitability scores, rankings, recommendations, market insights or other decision-support information.

The AQYR platform is designed to provide explainable assessments, including information about the factors contributing to candidate matching and ranking. The current platform describes candidate assessments as being based on structured evidence, including skills, sector context, project experience and seniority.

These systems are intended to assist rather than replace human judgement. AQYR’s automated tools may influence which candidates are prioritised for review, but employment and hiring decisions remain subject to human consideration by AQYR personnel, employers or clients as applicable.

You should not assume that an automated assessment represents a final employment decision.

6. Sensitive Information

Sensitive Information has the meaning given to it under the Privacy Act and may include information about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of professional or trade organisations, criminal record, health information and certain other protected categories of information.

Where AQYR collects Sensitive Information, we will only collect and use it where permitted by law.

Sensitive Information will generally only be used for the primary purpose for which it was obtained, for a directly related secondary purpose where permitted, with your consent, or where its collection or use is required or authorised by law.

7. Disclosure of Personal Information

AQYR may disclose Personal Information where reasonably necessary to provide our services.

This may include disclosure to clients and prospective employers where relevant to recruitment or workforce services; technology, hosting, analytics and infrastructure providers; providers supporting integrations with recruitment and HR systems; professional advisers; contractors and service providers assisting AQYR in operating its business; and government authorities, regulators or other parties where disclosure is required or authorised by law.

Where we engage third-party service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure Personal Information is handled appropriately and only used for authorised purposes.

8. Overseas Disclosure and Service Providers

AQYR may use technology and service providers whose systems, personnel or infrastructure are located outside Australia.

Where Personal Information may be disclosed to or processed by an overseas recipient, AQYR will take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

The countries in which information may be processed can depend on the technology providers and services used by AQYR from time to time.

Where appropriate, AQYR will implement contractual, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information processed by third parties.

9. Website, Cookies and Analytics

When you use the AQYR website or platform, we may collect technical and usage information through cookies, analytics tools and similar technologies.

This information may include your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, interactions with our website or platform, referral information and other usage data.

We may use this information to operate and secure our website and platform, understand how our services are used, improve functionality and user experience, measure the effectiveness of communications and marketing, and identify technical issues.

You may be able to control or disable certain cookies using your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some parts of our website or platform.

10. Direct Marketing

AQYR may use your contact information to provide information about products, services, workforce insights, events or other content that we reasonably believe may be relevant to you, where permitted by law.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe function included in our communications or by contacting us at [email protected].

Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent AQYR from sending you operational, security, account, subscription or service-related communications where required.

11. Security of Personal Information

AQYR takes reasonable steps to protect Personal Information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

We use administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we hold and the services we provide.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and AQYR cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, disclosure or loss will never occur.

12. Retention of Personal Information

AQYR retains Personal Information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected, for another permitted purpose, or where retention is required by law.

The appropriate retention period may vary depending on the nature of the information, the relationship between AQYR and the individual, applicable legal requirements and whether there is an ongoing legitimate business purpose for retaining the information.

Where Personal Information is no longer required for a permitted purpose, AQYR will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it, subject to applicable legal obligations.

13. Data Breaches

AQYR takes the security of Personal Information seriously.

Where AQYR becomes aware of a suspected data breach, we will assess the incident and take reasonable steps to contain and remediate it.

Where a breach constitutes an Eligible Data Breach under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), AQYR will comply with the requirements of the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Where required, this may include notifying the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and affected individuals as soon as practicable and providing information about the nature of the breach and recommended steps individuals should take.

14. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

You may request access to Personal Information AQYR holds about you, subject to any exceptions permitted by law.

You may also ask us to correct Personal Information that you believe is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, irrelevant or misleading.

To protect your privacy, we may require you to verify your identity before providing access to or changing Personal Information.

AQYR will not generally charge a fee for making an access request. Where permitted by law, we may charge a reasonable administrative fee associated with providing access to information.

Requests can be sent to [email protected].

15. Maintaining the Quality of Personal Information

AQYR takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up to date where appropriate.

The nature of workforce and employment information means that circumstances can change over time.

If you believe information AQYR holds about you is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, update our records.

If you have a concern or complaint about the way AQYR has handled your Personal Information, please contact us at:

We will review your complaint and endeavour to respond within a reasonable period.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, business practices or legal obligations.

The current version will be available at:

Continued use of our services following an update does not limit any rights you may have under applicable privacy law.
